In 2013 my reading took me on a new ride. My #bookfairy introduced me to the world of New Adult fiction and I haven’t looked back since! The trouble is, there are so many great series and I don’t like to start a series that hasn’t been finished so I get left behind in all the excitement of a new book. This year, I am throwing that out the window because I don’t want to miss out!
Goodreads Challenge (100)
I attempted 100 in 2013 but only managed 84. This year, I’m hoping to exceed my expectations! I figured it would be best to name some titles that I need to read to complete my other challenges first and work my way up from there. I have over 500 books on my To Be Read shelf so I’m not really short of titles. I’m sure my Book Fairy will keep me well stocked & there are always 1000s of free books on Kindle!

#boutofbooks readathon (3)
January 6-12. See the sign up post here if you want more info and you can check back in a few days to follow my progress post.
Book Lovin’ Kiwis (BLK) Challenge (12)
To read at least one of the two books selected each month, that are in someway affiliated with New Zealand and/or participate in one if their challenges, like languishing literature or bookcase dwellers to make up numbers if I fall behind.
Rewind Challenge (24-36)
The Gisborne library has an annual “Great Book Sale”. In 2013, I bought like 10 boxes for $30, and they are full of YA, most likely old or never heard of. I’m looking forward to cracking open a box & seeing what I get. I think a monthly mini-review post could be in order, 2-3 per month? I’ve got to come up with a way to sort through them all.
